GameFAQs

Where would PdW2kX be without GameFAQs? I shudder to think. GameFAQs is by no means a perfect place, but it's home. For game reviews, codes, and FAQs, you'll find none better. The message boards are a mixed bag, but some are truly a great environment.

Pure Pain Wrestling

Although having just recently come back into the fold after a multi-month absence, PPW still feels like home. I'll have been with PPW for three years soon, and there's no place I'd rather be. I'd love to explain what makes this promotion so great, but I don't think I'd really be able to do it justice. If you're interested, see it for yourself.

IVP Videos

I've had the pleasure of doing business with IVP Videos for quite some time now. The owner, Chris Schoen, is a great guy, and a good friend. IVP is easily the only reason I grew involved, and stay involved, with Japanese wrestling. Along with GameFAQs, the MV Zone, and this website, the IVP Videos Message Board is one of my most-frequently visited place on the internet. The prices are insanely cheap, and feature some of the best bargains around. I've never dealt with anyone besides IVP Videos when it comes to Puroresu Wrestling DVD's, and I very highly doubt that will change anytime soon.

The MV Zone

The name says it plain and simple: assembled here are some of the best wrestling MV makers currently working. Their message board is extremely friendly, their competitions are fierce, and they've assembled one of the best collections of wrestling tribute videos I've watched. Plus, they have many downloadable-to-everyone tribute videos freely hosted. So, basically, I came to leech videos (I'll be honest), but I stayed because these guys are dedicated, smart as hell, and have a great forum.

Puroresu Central

Puro Central is a great starting point for anyone even remotely interested in Puroresu. It features all kinds of helpful information on Puroresu, from rosters to images to clips to "what wrestler X did in year Y" sections, which are highly informative mini-rundowns of a wrestler's career during a specific year. Some very good Puroresu reviews from a variety of talented people helps round out the website, making Puroresu Central a must for Puro fans.

Splash Mountain

Fellow reviewer Mike Campbell straddles the line between highly informative and uniquely entertaining, which is what all good reviewers should strive towards in my opinion. I fully recommend checking out what he has to say. If you're a fan of my reviews (and I'll always be thankful for having fans), I know for a fact you'll love Mike's thoughts on all things wrestling: famous, not-so-famous, good, not-so-good, and everything in between. Definitely check out Splash Mountain.

SoCal Uncensored

SoCal is where my mind stays…for some "California Love", head on over to SCU, which covers just about all of the wrestling action taking place in the highly unique and highly diversified SoCal atmosphere. Whatever you're into, some federation in SoCal is doing it, and most of the time they're doing it well. I've always been a fan of SoCal, and with links like SCU to keep me informed and entertained, I'll likely always be a fan of SoCal.

Highspots

IVP Videos is to Japanese Wrestling what Highspots is to…pretty much everything else. I've never had a single problem with them. Highspots has some great prices, and when they do a sale they do it right. Their shipping is usually incredible, as well. I've ordered countless things from them, including DVD's and books, and I have no reason to stop.

MADSPLASH

A great site to get the wrestling entrance music of many, many Japanese pro wrestling stars. Madsplash has all the popular songs, from all the big federations, and many of the smaller ones. It's a great way to find that one entrance music you've always been wanting to hear.

Widow's Peak Video

Widow's Peak hosts a variety of excellent tribute videos and even a few downloadable matches. Everything available is usually good, and it's unfortunate that the site basically functions as little else than an archive, since the webmasters abandoned the site a while ago. Though no new content will likely ever be released, the content available more than warrants a look-through.

WrestleCrap

WrestleCrap is easily the funniest site I've ever read, as I can't even remember how many times I've had my stomach ache in laughter at the hilarity on that site. As an aside, the webmaster of the site, R.D. Reynolds, is one of the co-writers of what I consider the greatest wrestling book ever, "The Death of WCW". I've read it at least twenty times. Whether it's for insightful comments that really make you realize just how badly things sucked, or whether it's simply to bust a gut on a Friday night, WrestleCrap is home to a unique blend of insightful dialogue wrapped around laugh-out-loud humor.
